Nate Williams, a.k.a. n8w, was born in 1973 in
Salt Lake City, Utah, USA. He grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area, and moved
back to Salt Lake City at the age of fifteen. He began studying Anthropology
at the University of Utah, although quickly decided to major in Fine Arts, with
an emphasis in inter-media sculpture.
Currently, Nate is living in various countries in South/Central America, and
works as an illustrator, artist, and web designer/developer. He has illustrated
for clients ranging from The Stranger, The Village Voice, Wave Rave Snowboard
Clothing Company, Pearl Jam, Seventeen Magazine to The Utah Symphony, Viewpoint,
Microsoft, United Airlines, MSN, Brown University and more.
Besides work, he is a lover of nature and new environments -he enjoys being near
the ocean, lakes, waterfalls; looking at the sky, the stars, and being surrounded
by vegetation and wildlife.
" I like to observe people and their culture; going on
random buses to see where they go; and most definitely being
in new environments." His passion in all these things
have made him a steady traveler.
Nate also illustrates under the alter ego "Uncle Alien"
